Who we are

Mother Earth needs to rest. Every tonne of steel we recover is a tonne that never has to be mined, smelted and shipped from ore again, and every transformer or vehicle we strip is copper and aluminium that goes back into the economy instead of into the ground. Recycling is not a line in our sustainability policy. It is the business.

Every load crosses a certified weighbridge and is graded against a stated standard, and payment is made against that ticket. We value before we offer, pay on valuation before the dismantling is finished, and remit lot by lot with the workings shown. We publish our own customs record rather than describing our scale in adjectives, and where a figure has not been confirmed this site shows nothing rather than an estimate.
